Sam and Harry are playing one day. On the first hole, Sam hits a wicked slice into the adjoining fairway. The ball hits another player right between the eyes and he drops to the ground.
Sam and Harry rush over to the prostrate man and find him unconscious with the ball laying on the ground between his legs.
Sam screams, "Oh my God, what should I do?"
Harry replies; "Don't move him. If you leave him there he becomes an immovable obstruction and, according to the rules, you are allowed a drop two club-lengths away."
Restaurant
The Restaurant of the Moscow City Golf Club is located on the side of the lake in a spectacular part of Moscow in the green space near Vorobyovy Gory. Since getting inside the Club house, a visitor has the impression, that he is far from the city and can enjoy peace and nature. One does not feel the rhythm of a megapolis, but one can reach fast the center of the city.
The Restaurant consist of two parts. The min part “Gourmet” is maintained in a classic style of European clubs. The walls are decorated by massive mirrors in golden frames, panoramic windows facing the lake are slightly covered with curtains. Low music on the background and soft light make the impression of coziness and comfort.
In the other hall called “Rotunda” a more democratic golf-cafe is situated with a nice site on the course. Here everything is connected with golf: there are portraits of the champions of prestigious tournaments with their signatures on the walls, club members’ photos, golf memorabilia. On the big screen one can see golf tournaments that take place all over the world and also the newest films. The summer place of the Restaurant is ready for the guests since the beginning of May, which is the traditional time of the beginning of the golf-season.
The cuisine of the Restaurant will satisfy the most demanding gourmet. The well-known cooks team are real masters and offer to the guests exquisite dishes that are the results of their professional experience. The chef-confectioner of the Restaurant, that works here for many years, has developed more than 30 formulas of bread, that is baked in its own mini-bakery. One cannot describe the deserts she prepares, one should taste them! From time to time guest stars of the cookery, that gained world-wide recognition, are invited to the Restaurant.
During day hours a business-lunch is served. To please guests a golf-menu with home food is offered.
It is possible to make a preliminary reservation for dinners. The Restaurant is a very good choice for corporate events, banquets. A system of discounts is suggested for permanent visitors.
There is a guarded parking-lot on the territory of the Club.
